After 2.5 months of waiting we are finally ready to announce our first names. And not the least names either...here we go:
We are very proud to have RANCID in Meerhout again after 16 years (Rancid played at Apollo Rock in 1996). In occasion of their 20th anniversary RANCID will make their first European stop at GROEZROCK. Later on this year they will go on a full European tour. You can be sure to hear all their classics in their 80-minute during set.
Simple Plan: Pop Punk from Canada who played fantastic live shows the past year at Pinkpop, Rock Am Ring/Rock Im Park,... They also played at the Vans Warped Tour and in a (nearly) sold out Vooruit (Ghent).
The best Californian punkrock band, on the Fat Wreck Chords label, can only be Lagwagon. Joey Cape and his friends are very welcome guests at GROEZROCK. They always know how to transform the gig into a huge punkrock party. After a long time of inactivity and playing solo shows they are now back with live shows. Can't wait!
The biggest metalcore band Parkway Drive will tour Europe during Spring. Words from the band “As far as we are concerned this Europe tour can't come fast enough! We have some great friends in some amazing bands coming with us, we might even drop some new tunes, and to cap it all off we finish the tour with Groezrock Festival!!! Groezrock has always held a great spot in our hearts; every time we've played it has been unbelievable so as you can guess we can’t wait to get back”
