ASHRR um Songwriter Steven Davis und die beiden Produzenten Ethan Allen und Josh Charles gruendeten sich 2018 in Los Angeles. Am 10. Mai veroeffentlciht die Synth/Indierockband mit "Oscillate" ihr Debutalbum in Eigenregie. Vorab stellt das Trio anbei einen ersten Song namens "Don't Wait Too Long" daraus inklusive Videoclip vor. Die Bandmitglieder sind bereits seit Jahren erfolgreich als Produzenten, schreiben Filmmusiker und haben u.a. bereits mit John Oates zusammengearbeitet.
Charles kommentiert:
“Our collective love of analog synth pop, classic new wave melodies and songwriting, and taking modern production to the limits, defines us. We all come from different backgrounds which is what can be heard inside the music. We've made a band for ourselves that we wanted to hear in today’s climate. ASHRR sounds like ASHRR.”
