Ca. 15 Monate nach ihrem letzten Longplayer "Out of Exile" werden AUDIOSLAVE mit "Revelations" ihren nächsten Streich im September veröffentlichen. Frontmann Chris Cornell hat sich Launch gegenüber in sofern geäußert, dass Fans ja nicht zwingen jades Album einer Band lieben müssten: "There was a time when being a rock band meant that, or being a fan of a rock band, meant that they might make a record that isn't your favorite, but it's not the end of their career, or the end of you being a fan of that band, and the next record might be completely different or it might be something that you love, that you would never expect."
