BORN OF OSIRIS werden ihr neues Album im Juni veröffentlichen. Aufgenommen wurde das Album im Planet Z mit Producer Chris "Zeuss" Harris. Gitarrist Lee McKinney sagt:
"The songs are a much more mature evolution of what we were doing before; with the new album, you can expect longer, more developed material. For the fans who feel like they've been waiting for a long time or feel like they're in the dark on it, it's all for the better. I don't feel that 'A Higher Place' is really what most people are expecting; it will be so much more. This is the best material we've written so far and we're very proud of it."
