Hierzulande ist es ja noch gar nicht so lange her, dass das neue FALL OUT BOY Album releast wurde. Da das Release in den USA schon ein Weilchen her ist, hatten die Durchstarter auch schon Releasepläne für ihr zweites Majorwerk verkündet, die eine Spätherbstveröffentlichung vorsahen.
Nun spricht die Band jedoch davon, dass man mit einem Release in 2007 rechnet und eine erste Single wohl noch dieses Jahr erscheinen wird. Bassist Pete Wentz begründet dies folgendermaßen:
"There was just too much sh-- going on," und einiges hat wohl auch mit dem Label zu tun:
"We've been ready to record for about the last three weeks, but there's been, um, if I go into specifics, I'll get into trouble. Here have been some changes at our label, a little bit of strangeness there. Half the phone numbers I have for people at the label don't have people on the other end of them anymore. It slowed us slightly, but we're getting back up to speed. "
Ende dieser Woche möchte die Band, 20 Songs im Gepäck, das Studio mit Produzent Neal Avron betreten.
