JUSTIN COURTNEY PIERRE, (ehemaliger) Frontmann von MOTION CITY SOUNDTRACK, verkuendet sein erstes Soloalbum fuer den 12. Oktober. "In The Drink" erscheint via Epitaph - vorab stellt PIERRE mit "I Don't Know Why She Ran Away" einen ersten Song der Platte vor. Pierre spielte alle Instrumente (bis auf die Drums) selbst ein - produziert hat das Album MOTION CITY SOUNDTRACK-Gitarrist Joshua Cain. Pierre kommentiert:
"One of my favorite movie trailers of all time is for Jean Luc Godard’s Masculin Féminin. It simultaneously tells you everything and nothing about the film, utilizing the entire Chantal Goya song Tu M’as Trop Menti. The goal was to recreate the feeling of this trailer using footage from projects Shane Nelson (Director) and I had done in the past, as well as shoot new footage in order to help tell the story. It’s a lighthearted look at an incredibly dark period of time in my life when I first got “sober,” and my wife and I first met, but the roles are all jumbled."
