Die deutsche Death Metaller LAY DOWN ROTTEN sind mit den Aufnahmen ihres neuen Albums in den Desert Inn Studios beschäftigt. Ihr sechster Longplayer (der dritte für Metal Blade) hört auf den Namen "Mask Of Malice" und soll im Februar 2012 auf Metal Blade Records erscheinen.
Hier schon mal ein paar vorab durchgesickerte Songtitel: "Deathchain", "And Out Come The Wolves", "Hades Resurrected" und "Swallow The Bitterness".
Die Band erklärt: "We are almost done recording our sixth album. We recorded at the Desert Inn Studio where we also worked on the last five albums. The new album will be called "Mask of Malice" and it features ten killer tracks that combine the raw dynamics of the typical LAY DOWN ROTTEN sound with the bittersweet melodies of Death Metal hymns you wanna bang your head to!"

LAY DOWN ROTTEN haben ihr letztes Album "Gospel Of The Wretched" im Jahre 2009 auf Metal Blade Records veröffentlicht. "Gospel Of The Wretched" enthielt Gastauftritte der Death Metal-Sänger Dan Swanö, Martin van Drunen und Marc Grewe.
