Mr. Anders Wendin aka MONEYBROTHER ist zurück.
Am 21. September veröffentlicht er sein neues Album "This Is Where Life Is".
Für die dreimonatigen Aufnahmen begab sich MONEYBROTHER in 7 Länder und nahm insgesamt 10 Songs auf, jeweils mit Unterstützung lokaler Größen wie z.B. dem Perkussionisten Marcos Suzanos. Er bereiste die Städte Chicago, Los Angeles, Rio De Janeiro, Kingston, London, Kapstadt und Auckland.
Dazu MONEYBROTHER:
"I don't want to fake it. The only way to truly record an album like this is to go to the places where all that music was born, find the artist who live and breathe it. I want to capture the sounds i used to dream about as a kid"
Passend zur musikalischen und kulturellen Vielfalt des Albums hat der Regisseur Jim Dziura die Reisen für eine Dokumentation in Spielfilmlänge begleitet. Und auch die visuelle Seite hat für MONEYBROTHER einen großen Stellenwert: “My dream was always to make sure that the listener and the fan could truly experience this with me, so alongside the music, we had to make sure that we documented this process as much as possible. Viewers will be able to tag along and experience not only the people, the places and the hardships of producing this album, but also my inner journey.”
