Die finnischen Metaller von NIGHTWISH haben kürzlich das Studio betreten um ihr erstes Album seit dem Abgang von Sängerin Tarja Turunen aufzunehmen. Hier ein Statement der Band zur aktuellen Situation:
"There has been again false news about [the] NIGHTWISH vocalist [position] in some media [outlets] at least in Finland. There has not been any decisions made concerning the vocalist and there will not be any before year 2007. When the band chooses the vocalist, they will inform all media about it. Once again: Do not trust any news if it's not found in www.nightwish.com!"
NIGHTWISH haben am 21. Oktober 2005 Turunen mit einem "offenen Brief" gefeuert.
