SKELETONWITCH haben sich für die anstehenden Shows und das neue Album Tony Laureano als neuen Drummer ergattert !
Laureano kennen vielleicht einige von euch als er für Dimmu Borgir, Nile oder 1349 getrommelt hat. Nun nimmt er den Platz von Derrick "Mullet Chad) Nau ein der sich auf sein Kunststudium konzentrieren möchte. Also kein böses Blut, ganz und gar nicht, man bleibt gut befreundet und wenn euch interessiert was Derrick künstlerisch drauf hat schaut euch das hier mal an www.apocalypsenau.com.
Gitarrist Scott Hedrick kommentiert den Wechsel wie folgt:
"Our good friend Tony will be playing drums on our April tour, new album, and for the foreseeable future. We're fucking stoked to have a drummer of his caliber and experience on board. He's a beast behind the kit and a great fucking guy as well. You can't ask for more than that!"
"After our last tour Derrick informed us that he is putting down the drum sticks and picking up the paint brush. He is returning to art school and does not wish to be a musician anymore. We would like to thank Derrick for his years of dedication to Skeletonwitch. Though we will miss him, there is no bad blood. We will always remain great friends and wish him the best with his new endeavor."
SKELETONWITCH gehen im April mit 3 Inches Of Blood of US Tour dann wird das Album aufgenommen und im August können wir "The Witch" dann auch wieder in Deutschland live erleben beim Party-San und Sommer Breeze (12.8. Party-San, 20.08. Summer Breeze)
