THE SLEEPING haben die Aufnahmen zu ihrem dritten Album, "What It Takes", in den Salad Days Studios in Baltimore gemeinsam mit Produzent Brian McTernan (Snapcase, Hot Water Music) abgeschlossen. Das Album wird im Januar abgemischt und soll am 17. Februar veröffentlicht werden. Bevor die Band auf Tour mit FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND aufbricht, wird man noch ein Vido in Los Angeles abdrehen. Frontman Doug kommentiert dies folgendermaßen: "We have made our songs so much more energetic, and lyrically it is some of the best I have ever written. I I know a lot of people out there need the truth that they're about to get from this record. Working with Brian has been amazing. We've learned a lot from this experience about ourselves as individuals and as a band. We're all super stoked to just start playing these new tracks for people. GET READY!!!"
