Die Thrasher aus Montreal von WARSENAL haben soeben ein neues Lyric-Video zu ihrem Song "Doomed From Birth" veröffentlicht. Der Titel ist eine Auskopplung aus dem kommenden Album "Feast Your Eyes", welches am 15. November via Svart Records! erscheinen wird.
Das erste Demo von WARSENAL mit drei Songs erschien 2012 und im selben Jahr begann die Band auch live zu spielen. Das Demo erregte schnell die Aufmerksamkeit eines japanischen Festivalorganisators, der die Band zu einem Auftritt auf das "True Thrash Fest" im Februar 2013 nach Japan einlud, dem ersten internationalen Auftritt von Warsenal. Das kam schon einem kleinen Ritterschlag gleich, wenn man bedenkt, dass sonst solche Genre-Größen wie Exciter, Violator und Sabbat in dem Jahr gebucht wurden. In der kanadischen Heimat erspielte man sich ausgiebigen Tourneen durch die Provinz inzwischen sogar einen Headlinerstatus bei zwei kleineren Festivals. International tourten Warsenal bereits mit Enforcer in Mexiko und in den USA beim Full Terror Assault Festival mit Bands wie: Overkill, Venom Inc., Crowbar und Toxic Holocaust. Jüngst ging es auf Ostküsten US Tour mit Seax .
Mat von Warsenal kommentiert das Signing mit Svar wie folgt:
"We're really excited to be signing with Finnish label Svart Records. They have a great international visibility and are very well respected among musicians and fans alike. This makes us very honored to be taking over the world of Metal under their flag. I think that with Feast Your Eyes, we've really grasped what is the "Warsenal sound" and how we want to go from there. It's still raw and filled to the brim with crazy riffs flying everywhere, but the production quality and the songs structure have really took a major imrpovement, call it maturity I guess. The songs, are all very different and unique, while keeping the Warsenal energy and the madness that people digged on the first album. A lot of surprises and jaw-dropping are to be expected on this second album. Let's just say that it is not you're typical and generic Thrash or Speed Metal album."
