Das erste YEAR OF THE KNIFE Album wird "Internal Incarceration" heissen und am 7. August via Pure Noise Records erscheinen. Anbei stellt die Hardcoreband aus Delaware mit "Virual Narcotics" einen weiteren Song der Platte vor, die von Kurt Ballou (Converge, Code Orange, Nails) produziert wurde und auf der Frontmann Tyler Mullen inhaltlich Verlust, Sucht und Trauer verarbeitet. Gitarre und Bass uebernehmen bei YEAR OF THE KNIFE die Eheleute Brandon und Madison Watkins, die erklaeren:

Those experiences can make you feel alone, but they’re something a lot of people within hardcore have gone through and can relate to. People that gravitate towards this music often have this darkness in their lives, but hardcore can be a beacon where they can find community and relief.
