Were influenced by a lot of early CBGB punk rock bands. We get labeled a lot as a punk rock band, but we always call ourselves a rock band. So I think to call ourselves a punk rock band is wrong because it gives the wrong impression.

Mehr »Well play a song off of the new record tonight though! Its very dynamic. Ascendancy, when you listen through it, is definetely, all the songs have a similar thing or theme to it, and on the new record each song is very individual, from song to song it keeps changing. Not in a bad way, but we keep moving more and more to a traditional Metal formula, especially vocally. A lot more singing and not so much screaming anymore.
Mehr »We went on tour with 3 Hardcore bands last year in Europe and there were more broken bones and noses than we have ever experienced over here. When I was younger me and my friends in highschool we would go to just any punk, metal or hardcore concert and just mosh the night through. But we never got hit in the face or anything like that, but now its like a sort of battlefield. If they need it, then let them. I just dont get it.

Es kam auch schonmal vor, dass wir den Ärger und Stress mit in den ein oder anderen Song gepackt haben. Vorhin hatten wir beispielsweise eine kleine Meinungsverschiedenheit. Wir haben uns gleich die Zeit genommen, dass zu besprechen und haben zusammen gebetet.

Mehr »Im Moment stürzen sich zuviele Hardcore Bands auf Trends um irgendwie aufzuspringen. Da passiert es schonmal das eine Band in einem Jahr 3 mal ihren Musikalischen Style wechselt. Außerdem sieht man auf den Metalcore Shows all die Kids die bis vor nen paar Monaten Slipknot gehört haben... das nervt irgendwie.

Mehr »Der Check-In verlief glücklicherweise schnell und so konnten wir zeitig unser Lager auf dem riesigen Areal beziehen. Das Zelt stand, die PET-Flasche Karlsquell war noch kühl und so wurde erstmal entspannt und der beim Check-In erhaltene Festivalguide studiert.
